Одним из неявных эффектов межрегиональной интеграции является процесс изменения состояния окружающей среды интегрирующихся стран. Цель исследования – оценить взаимосвязь между темпами роста экономики и состоянием окружающей среды на примере стране ЕАЭС в долгосрочном временном интервале. С помощью корреляционного анализа в работе верифицируется гипотеза о том, что ускорение темпов роста экономик стран ЕАЭС в результате интенсификации интеграционных процессов привело к ухудшению состояния окружающей среды. В результате проведенного анализа установлено, что в случае Армении и Киргизии существует статистически значимая обратная связь между величиной ВВП и ущербом для экологии от выбросов CO2. Для остальных трех экономик ЕАЭС эта связь статистически незначима. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для разработки стратегии социально-экономического развития стран ЕАЭС с учетом параметров экономического развития стран.
One of the implicit effects of interregional integration is the process of environmental change in the integrating countries. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the relationship between the growth rate of the economy and the state of the environment on the example of the EAEU country in the long-term time interval. Using correlation analysis, the paper verifies the hypothesis that the acceleration of economic growth rates in the EAEU countries as a result of the intensification of integration processes has led to the deterioration of the environment. As a result of the analysis, it is found that in the case of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan there is a statistically significant inverse relationship between GDP and environmental damage from CO2 emissions. For the other three EAEU economies this relationship is statistically insignificant. The results of the study can be used to develop a strategy of socio-economic development of the EAEU countries taking into account the parameters of economic development of the countries.
