Открытость границ на пространстве интеграционного объединения способствует более эффективной аллокации капитала, а это, в свою очередь, стимулирует экономический рост. Цель исследования – оценить взаимосвязь между темпами роста экономики и развитостью финансовых рынков и институтов на примере стран ЕАЭС в долгосрочном временном интервале. С помощью корреляционного анализа в работе верифицируется гипотеза о том, что ускорение интеграционных процессов на пространстве ЕАЭС простимулировало развитие финансовых рынков и институтов, а это оказало положительное влияние на темпы экономического роста стран объединения. В результате проведенного анализа установлено, что в случае России и Киргизии существует статистически значимая прямая связь между исследуемыми показателями. Для остальных трех экономик ЕАЭС эта связь статистически незначима. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для разработки стратегии социально-экономического развития стран ЕАЭС с учетом параметров развития финансовых рынков этих стран.
The openness of borders in the space of integration association promotes more efficient allocation of capital, and this, in turn, stimulates economic growth. The aim of the study is to assess the relationship between the economic growth rate and the development of financial markets and institutions on the example of the EAEU country in the long-term time horizon. Using correlation analysis, the paper verifies the hypothesis that the acceleration of integration processes in the EAEU space stimulated the development of financial markets and institutions, and this had a positive impact on the economic growth rates of the countries of the association. As a result of the analysis, it was found that in the case of Russia and Kyrgyzstan there is a statistically significant direct relationship between the studied indicators. For the other three EAEU economies this relationship is statistically insignificant. The results of the study can be used to develop a strategy of socio-economic development of the EAEU countries, taking into account the parameters of the development of financial markets of these countries.
