Исследование посвящено анализу сообществ социальной сети "ВКонтакте" (как наиболее популярной в РФ платформы) в контексте развития сельских территорий. Социальные медиа рассматриваются в качестве инновационного инструмента, способствующего кооперации сельских жителей для решения социально-экономических и политических проблем. Гипотеза исследования заключается в том, что онлайн-платформы облегчают взаимодействие между местным населением, бизнесом и властями. На примере одного поселения в Республике Карелия проведен контент-анализ всех релевантных групп "ВКонтакте". Первичный анализ выявил ключевые тематики дискуссий; на втором этапе изучены наиболее активные сообщества с целью определения их роли в реализации локальных проектов. Результаты демонстрируют приоритетность для жителей вопросов экологического просвещения, улучшения качества окружающей среды и культурного развития территории.
The study is devoted to the analysis of the communities of the social network VKontakte (as the most popular platform in the Russian Federation) in the context of rural development. Social media is considered as an innovative tool that promotes cooperation among rural residents to solve socio-economic and political problems. The hypothesis of the study is that online platforms facilitate interaction between the local population, businesses and authorities. Using the example of one settlement in the Republic of Karelia, a content analysis of all relevant VKontakte groups was conducted. The initial analysis revealed the key topics of discussion; at the second stage, the most active communities were studied in order to determine their role in the implementation of local projects. The results demonstrate the priority of environmental education, environmental quality improvement and cultural development of the territory for residents.
