Production culture as a key indicator of the development of the production system and the effectiveness of production management

The relevance of the research is associated with the changes in the modern world characterized by the globalization of the economy and high rates of innovative development. It seriously affects the nature and structure of the competitive advantages of enterprises. To survive in highly competitive markets, enterprises must constantly implement a set of measures aimed at increasing production efficiency and reducing costs, maintaining high quality goods and services, and ensuring long-term benefits of a high order, one of which, of course, is the efficient organization of production.
Main results: the most important aspects of the implementation at an industrial enterprise of a system for assessing the level of development of the production system and the effectiveness of production management from the standpoint of production culture and the implementation of key projects are formulated. The methodology for assessing and auditing key performance indicators of production management, parameters and tools for assessing the level of production culture, methods of managing deviations in the development of the production system of an enterprise and the implementation of its key projects are formulated.
The scientific novelty of the research lies in the systematization of the main provisions reflecting the essence of the system for assessing the effectiveness of production management. The conception, in contrast to existing concepts, disclose the management of the development of the production system as an integrated system for the development and adoption of managerial decisions based on the results of measuring two key performance indicators: production culture and implementation of key projects.
Scope of the results: the results of the study have scientific and methodological value from the standpoint of formulating conceptual provisions for assessing the level of development of the production system and the effectiveness of production management through measurable indicators: parameters of production culture and the implementation of key projects, and can also be applied in the practical activities of industrial enterprises.
