PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN EFFECTIVE INVESTMENT MECHANISM OF THE CIS COUNTRIES ON THE BASIS OF GLOBAL VALUE ADDED CHAINS

Abstract

The article examines the prospects for the development of an effective investment mechanism of the CIS countries to ensure the growth and development of the economy. One of the characteristic phenomena of a planned economy in a market economy is the prospects for cooperation and partnership, as well as the prospects for integration. The advantages of integration are the attraction of significant investments, lucrative loans, grants and other types of financial assistance, access to modern technologies, access to other markets, etc. The authors studied and presented the dynamics of globalization of the world economy and the economies of individual countries based on an assessment of 4 key indicators of globalization: movement of goods, capital, people and information, in order to assess the possibilities of investment interaction between the CIS countries. Also, a thorough analysis of the trading partners of the CIS countries in terms of export and import has been carried out; it shows that there are good reserves for expanding mutual partnership between the CIS countries in terms of mutual trade. The results of the study led to the conclusion that cooperation between neighboring countries, united along a regional basis, is strengthened with the aim of creating efficient and flexible supply chains and reducing the risks of overdependence on trade with the largest industrialized countries and countries.
