The article examines the issues of setting and automation of management accounting, as well as the preparation of management reports at modern enterprises. The steps of automation for the purposes of managerial decision-making are considered as one of the main tasks of managerial accounting. The paper emphasizes that management accounting allows you to see the real situation in the company and promptly respond to changes, thanks to a specialized automated system for collecting information and various methods of processing it. The analysis of management accounting automation systems is carried out, their disadvantages and advantages are described. The concept of business processes and the possibilities of their automation are considered. The problems in this subject area are revealed. The article attempts to identify the benefits of automation of various components of management accounting.
