The article provides information about the role of commercial banks in the country's economy, the main types of their services and modern banking services. In addition, studying international experience, it can be noted that one of the main sources of income for commercial banks is their income from the financial market. Unfortunately, in our country this figure is much lower than in developed countries. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the financial market in our country, increase the number of participants in this market, in particular, attract more commercial banks, develop not only the primary securities market, but also the secondary securities market, and ensure the transparency of trade. In this article, these issues are investigated theoretically.
