This article explores the features of economic and mathematical modeling as a method of mathematical formalized description of economic objects, and also builds a model for calculating the value of a share and checks this model for the possibility of application. PJSC Aeroflot was taken as object of investigation, especially shares of this company. The purpose of the work is a detailed consideration of economic and mathematical modeling as one of the planning and forecasting methods, as well as its practical application on real stock market data. Main points of economic and mathematical modeling were considered during the research. The basic points of econometrics were studied for the building the model. As a result of the study, an adequate economic and mathematical model was built, in which the value of one share of PJSC Aeroflot is explained using the value of the US dollar in ruble terms and the value of the share value in the previous period. This model is qualitative and ready to be used for the development of the investing strategy.
