The article considers investment and construction activities from the position of regional sustainability, which is relevant in the context of increasing external instability for both the individual construction company and the regional investment and construction complex, as a whole. Inter-subject interaction within the framework of construction projects realization is considered. The significance of priorities of innovative activity in the regional investment and building complex from the position of sustainability is evaluated in the points. The tools, aimed at managing competitiveness, such as competitive analysis, analysis of the competitive environment, established within the regional investment and construction market, as well as beyond it, the forecast of the competitive environment of regional investment and construction complex, on the principles, corresponding to the analytical procedures, analysis and forecast of intraregional competitive processes, concerning investment and construction activity, are distinguished. Competitive partnership is characterized as a way to more rationally use the complex potential of each of the participants of the partnership, while maintaining the possibility of implementing incentive competitive mechanisms.
