In modern conditions, characterized by economic instability, energy tasks that do not contain uncertainties are the rare exception rather than the rule. Solving the problems of analyzing the state and development of energy systems, including power generating companies, is seriously complicated by the uncertainty of the initial information observed in the description of the current and prospective level of competitiveness, as well as the uncertainty of the quality criteria of the state and decisions made for effective development. The difficulties of analyzing the state of power systems caused by the influence of objective factors are such that, despite the numerous efforts of researchers in this direction, they are still far from overcoming. Therefore, research on improving the decision-making system to improve the competitiveness of an energy generating company, taking into account the uncertainty factors in solving the tasks contained in the article, is relevant. The article proposes a scheme for building an information support system for decisions on the development of an energy generating company. Methods for determining the results of operations on fuzzy parameter values have been developed. Methods for solving selection problems with fuzzy values of criterion estimates on a finite set of alternatives and classification with a fuzzy description of classes and values of indicators characterizing the competitiveness of power generating companies are presented. An algorithm for information support of the process of formation and selection of alternatives for the development of energy generating companies under conditions of high economic risks has been developed. In the course of the study, the directions for increasing the level of competitiveness of an energy generating company were studied, taking into account the peculiarities of using innovative technologies in the field of energy generation in conditions of uncertainty and multi-criteria.
