Currently, the level of requirements on the part of the company to the effectiveness of the state financial policy is increasing. In addition to the requirements on the part of the company, it is necessary to ensure the validity of the directions and volumes of the use of budgetary funds, the availability and quality of state and municipal services, the effectiveness of the management of state financial assets and debt obligations. Before formulating directions for further development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the formation of state financial policy in the post-covid economy, it is necessary to systematize the existing methodological approaches to its formation. In the course of the conducted research, the systematization of methodological approaches in the formation of state financial policy in the post-covid economy was carried out. It is concluded that at present, the basis for the formation of state financial policy is to increase the potential of economic development, achieve national development goals, increase the efficiency of budget expenditures and improve inter-budgetary relations in order to promote national development goals.
