The place and role of investments at the present stage of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation can hardly be overestimated. They ensure the growth of national welfare in the context of improving its quantitative and qualitative indicators, create conditions for the development and implementation of the latest technical and technological systems, and also ensure the acceleration of structural shifts (breakthroughs) in the development of the state, its industry and regional segments based on an effective mechanism for their concentration in the most promising, profitable.
Therefore, the availability of sufficient investment resources, their rational use is a key factor in the effective implementation of the state investment policy of the Russian Federation.
The purpose of this study is to determine the features of the implementation of Russia's investment policy.
An analysis was made of the dynamics of changes in the volume of investments in fixed capital (FCI), an assessment of the shares of federal districts in the total volume of FCI in Russia, and Russia's investment prioritie The study revealed a progressive increase in the volume of capital investments (investments) in the national economy, the predominant share of which is directed to the development of the following areas: mining, that is, in the extractive sector, construction, fuel and energy complex, industrial sector, logistics, agro-industrial complex, in addition, there has been an increase in investment in innovation. In the context of federal districts - over 61% of all investments were disbursed in the Central, Volga and Ural federal districts.
