Sustainable production of organic food contributes to reducing negative environmental impact, improving soil and water quality, as well as ensuring access to high-quality and safe food. The article emphasizes the importance of a sustainable model of organic food production as an effective tool for enhancing food security in modern realities. The global experience in developing sustainable organic production is examined: strategies, programs, and policies applied by different countries to stimulate sustainable organic agriculture and production are analyzed. The focus is on studying the support for sustainable organic production in countries leading the Global Food Security Index. Strategies that could be relevant for enhancing food security in the Republic of Belarus are identified.
