THE NEED TO INVOLVE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE SPHERE OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION AT INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES OF THE DONETSK PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC

Abstract

The sphere of scientific and technical information within the framework of the functioning of enterprises covers information on conducted research and development, patent research and information on innovative developments, technological processes, results of marketing research and market analysis. This information is used to make informed decisions in the field of production development, introduction of new technologies and products, as well as to protect the intellectual property of the enterprise. Due to certain circumstances in recent years in the Donetsk People's Republic little attention has been paid to the sphere of scientific and technical information, which can lead to a decrease in competitiveness of enterprises, as they will not be able to timely monitor new developments and trends in their industry, as well as effectively protect their intellectual property rights.

In order to compensate for this gap, this article proposes to consider the issue of attracting young people, namely students and young scientists (hereinafter - young specialists) to work at industrial enterprises (hereinafter - enterprises) of the Donetsk People's Republic. Since in the modern world innovation and technology development play a key role in economic growth, it is higher education institutions (hereinafter - HEI) and enterprises are important participants of this process, as they have unique resources and competencies. Thus, higher education institutions teach students theoretical knowledge, while enterprises provide an opportunity to implement theoretical knowledge in practice, and cooperation between them contributes to the creation of new knowledge, development of skills and abilities of young specialists, as well as the introduction of innovations in production. This kind of symbiosis allows to train young specialists, who in the future will be able to successfully apply their knowledge in practice.
