The article considers the business processes of the enterprise, analysis of existing problems and optimization directions. Optimization of the technological business process helps the enterprise to establish the main business processes, promptly respond to changes in the external environment, improve the indicators of business processes, ensuring the creation of advantages over competitors. The main goal is to determine the directions of optimization of business processes at the enterprise of the chemical and forestry complex, which will increase competitiveness, increase profitability and create conditions for long-term sustainable development. During the study, various tools are used that allow for a more detailed analysis of the business processes of the research object, to find "bottlenecks", causes and connections of problems in the production of products. Based on the analysis, the main problems in key business processes were identified: high wear of equipment, machines, downtime and long readjustment in the fiberboard shop, excessive transportation of raw materials and materials.
