Abstract
To achieve food security, the agro-industrial complex of Dagestan must provide the population of the region with quality agricultural products of its own production without interruption. Improving the provision of agricultural products to the population is an important socio-economic task, the solution of which is of great importance for the development of the region.
The article analyzes the current state of production of the main types of agricultural products, identifies the most acute problems and suggests a set of measures for the further development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic.
