Abstract

The absolute need for innovation transformations in the creating points context of economic growth determines the existence of several requirements for the expanded integration of a number of economic categories. The category of rent relations is also evolving, which is fully capable of reflecting the effect obtained from the practical use of innovations in economic activity. From the position of the article authors, it is reasonable to conclude about the possibility of creating of intellectual rent as a key component of the new economy. The article considers the relationship between intellectual capital and innovation development of the national economy. To consider the problems of the study, it is proposed to analyze the place of the intellectual factor in global economic progress at the macro level, and to determine the ways of innovation development of the national economy in the conditions of intellectual permutations in economic relations. The research used methods of analysis and theoretical generalization, which made it possible to structure materials from various sources to substantiate the author's point of view. The result of this article was the formation of a reasonable conclusion that the rapid dissemination of the results of scientific and technological progress, their fundamentalization and practical application allows to occupy a leading position in the market and ensures the strategic competitiveness of economic entities at all levels of management. In the future, it is planned to expand the spectrum of concepts about intellectual rent to create instrumental approaches to its allocation and calculation, contributing to the creation of models for managing innovation development.
