Abstract

This study aims to develop the author's approach to the motivation of human capital as a factor of competitiveness of the organization in the knowledge economy. An important component of the work is the developed scale of quantitative assessment of the innovative potential of the middle and top management of the organization. The authors have developed and proposed a methodology for differentiating the salary rates of a manager, taking into account the individual labor participation of an employee, providing scientific validity in the distribution of the wage fund. The integral coefficient proposed by the authors reflects the excess of the basic cost estimate of the human capital of an employee corresponding to the intellectual qualification level compared with the basic cost estimate of the human capital of the lower/lower intellectual qualification level of the professional qualification group. In conclusion, conclusions are drawn about the viability of the developed methodology for assessing the innovative potential of an employee and, based on it, differentiating the salary rates of middle and top management of the organization. Management tasks that can be solved through the use of the developed author's methodology are announced.
